Brief Company Profile

ACS is an engineering, contracting and trade company located in Istanbul Turkey. It has been specialized in the field of design and installation of Mechanical systems, Natural Gas projects, LPG systems and SNG plants on turnkey basis in industrial premises. 

ACS has executed numerous mechanical, electrical and civil contracting jobs in industrial plants and commercial buildings since its establishment in 1990.

A Short History of ACS 

1990-1994 : Beginning 

ACS was established as a privately owned company  by Mr. Cem Sayin in Istanbul in 1990.

The main field of application during years 1990-1994 was the conversion projects of fuel-oil and LPG systems to natural gas in  Industrial plants .

During these years, ACS was the first domestic private company in Turkey approved by Botas / Government Owned lNatural Gas Distribution company for manufacturing RMS- B (High pressure Reducing and Metering Station) and install high pressure NG pipelines. 

After a rapid  growth period of four years, the company changed its commercial title as a limited company and hence was re-named as  ACS General Engineering and Trading Ltd. in 1994.

1995-2014 : Maturing

In early years of  second term, ACS still operates predominantly in the natural gas conversion projects that require special expertise, but also gradually enters projects in  general mechanical works and manufacturing.  In time, mechanical works becomes more dominant over gas conversion projects.

In 1997 ACS has signed distributorship agreement with CAM Srl, LPG–Air mixing unit manufacturer based in Milan Italy.  Since then, ACS has successfully installed 36 LPG mixing unit systems nationwide and abroad 

Some of the important projects completed during this period are 

Paşabahçe Glass Kırklareli Plant : Main gas distribution lines and modernization of existing  gas systems of  A-B-C-E glass furnaces, 

HONDA Turkey - ISUZU – UZEL: Natural Gas Project  which included  design and installation of   35-75 bar and 12-19 bar  natural gas pipe lines, district metering and regulating station  (RMS A), installation of RMS B (Plant’s main reducing and metering station) and each plant’s medium and low pressure natural gas distribution lines withim the factory buildings.

HONDA Turkey  50K project and 2012 model Honda Civic projects : Design and implementation of all industrial piping installations (Compressed air, industrial cooling water, raw water, de-ionized water, waste water,  soft water lines,  de-ionization unit, fire pump room, fire hydrant lines, fire cabinets, fire sprinkler systems, steam lines,  etc.), turnkey construction of  shelter and storage building, 10,000 m2 building, steel construction, including construction works as a partial de-installation and reconstruction, transportation routes within the factory made),

B/S/H Turkey : Design and installation of natural gas lines including RMS-B and secondary metering and reducing stations, iso-butane lines, compressed air lines,  polyol lines, compressed, hot water heating system applications, fire hydrant, sprinkler and foam extinguishing systems and numerous  HVAC projects  since 2002. ACS has now  become main solution partner of BSH in the field of mechanical design and installation  Also designed and supplied is the  fuel back-up system for Natural Gas for its 7 factories  consisting of 2 sets of LPG-Air mixing units – LPG Vaporizers- heating system and underground LPG storage tanks.

Trakya Glass EAD - Bulgaria: Design and supply of LPG back-up system for natural gas. A similar project for the same pırpose originally supplied by a competitor company was not able to be started-up due to poor system design and wrong selection of equipment. ACS redesigned the whole system and succesfully started up its system in 2010.

During this period, ACS has also started manufacturing of LPG and natural gas filters, liquid separators, and  water bath  LPG vaporizers. In this context, ACS has been the main supplier of  LPG vaporizers for LPG distribution companies Lipetgaz and Mogaz since 1998.During this period, ACS has also started manufacturing of LPG and natural gas filters, liquid separators, and  water bath  LPG vaporizers. 2015 -….    :  Save Energy- Increase production, lower  consumption
